Two phone covers I the first was for my iPhone and had a different picture on each side and the second for a Blackberry and is the same on both sides, this was a great project to use up leftover yarn and both i made with double pointed needles. The pictures for the wolf/paw one I simply charted using graph paper and photos I got from google. The second one I made for someone, and only plotted out the name on graph paper very easily :-)

Snail Hat! This one is made for a friend who asked me to make her some baby hats, I got the pattern from a knitting magazine but altered slightly as the pattern was for adults originally :-)

Sackboy Lion!! In the game I use the lion avatar so I thought I would try and make it. I followed the same sackboy pattern my friend gave me (the pattern is by simply knitting, I think you can find it online) but changed the colours to make the basic sackboy. For the mane I knitted 4 parts in loop stitch a piece for the top and back of the head, two equally sized smaller parts for the side of the head and a little piece for under the chin, the mane was probably the most difficult part for me as I had to make it up but I think it turned out ok. The ears were crocheted and and instead of the normal sackboy mouth I did a more cattish mouth hehe its a little different to how it looks in the game but I like it. Also I found out that Little Big Planet is going to be coming out on the Playstation Vita yayy!

a simple beanie I made a while ago, to make it i started with enough stitches to fit my head then using circular needles i did a rib stitch edge and after the knitting measured about 5 inches I started to decrease every row evenly until i was left with about 10 stitches, then I cut the wool looped it through the remaining stitches and pulled it tight to form the top. Its a little loose on my head so maybe next time I’ll do less stitches :-)

Hehe I made this hat and mittens for my baby nephew, hat is made of two knitted sides and crocheted ears all sewn together and similarly each mitten consisted of two knitted parts sewn together. I made a couple of mistakes on the face though as I tried to plan what i was doing but as i started knitting it, the plan wasn’t working so i had to make it up slightly as i was going along :-) but overall happy with the way it turned out

I finished these gloves a while ago but I kept forgetting to blog them! They took about a week to finish due to work but they turned out well I think. The pattern for the gloves I got from Ravelry and its by Drops Designs, here’s the link for the pattern  http://goo.gl/8jjVZ

Sackboy!

I love the game Little big planet and the newer Little big planet 2 for PS3 so I was thrilled when a work colleague said that she had the pattern to make the Sackboys from the games and so she gave me a copy of the pattern. Literally as soon as I got the pattern I bought the materials to make it (Yarn, Zip, Stuffing and Buttons) and when I got home I started to knit it and finished the knitting part in about 2 days, although putting it together was a little tedious haha but i was really happy with the way that it turned out.

It is such a good pattern that I’m now tempted to try and alter it to make one of the other Sackboys you can make in the game!

A hooded scarf made, I didn’t use a pattern for this one it was kind of make it up as I go along haha although I had an idea of what I wanted to do and it turned out OK. The very pretty Emete (of makelemonade shop http://www.make-lemonade.com/) was kind enough to model it for me in Neros cafe ^_^ and additionally this was made for Em

(the women in the background made me chuckle although i haven’t the slightest clue who they are)
